CUPON Rockland

Posted by CUPON Clarkstown:The 7.2 acre bungalow colony at 149 West Clarkstown Road in New City has sold to “Midco Land, LLC” for $4 million, as reported by the Rockland County Business Journal (𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘙𝘊𝘉𝘑 𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸).

Located just a stone’s throw from the former Champion Day Camp/Camp Merockdim site at 175 West Clarkstown Road, the bungalows are another remnant of Rockland’s heyday as a summer vacation and camping destination.

Currently, the site houses 22 bungalow-style cottages that are used as rental units. In recent years, local residents have grown increasingly concerned about deteriorating conditions and apparent lack of maintenance at the site.

how much more can the Ramapo/Clarkstown area handle. Traffic is horrendous in and around Ramapo and the border of Clarkstown. Very sad that officials do not see this. And when will it ever stop. It is also interesting that with all the talk of climate change this is NEVER addressed.
